CIP On the Front Lines: Executive Director Stephen Suleyman Schwartz in a working session with teaching personnel at the al-Qasemi Academic College of Education, operated by Halveti Sufis in the Israeli Arab town of Baqa el Garbia, June 2006. Baqa el Garbia is located in nothern Israel within range of Hezbollah rockets. CIP is assisting the al-Qasemi School in raising funds for books and software. Contributions to CIP for this purpose are tax-deductible. Similar contributions may be made through CIP to oppositional Sufi activists in Saudi Arabia and Iran; to the Faculties of Islamic Studies in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Hercegovina and Prishtina, Kosovo; to reconstruction of the Bektashi teqe and library in Gjakova, Kosovo; and support for Islamic education in Kazakhstan.
